Updating Text Content on your Website

**This article assumes your site has already been created and you need to make small edits, such as the content within.

How to log in and enter editing mode:

Log in to your Squarespace account at Squarespace > Log In.

This will bring you to your account dashboard. Your website will be listed on your dashboard.
Click WEBSITE to go to your website’s admin page.

There are two options to begin editing your site: either double click on the web page or click EDIT in the top left section of the page. Both of these throw you into editing mode.

Once you are in the editor, you can click on any piece of content you want to edit. Once you click on an element it will be highlighted in blue and give you a few different basic options.

Editing Text:

Once the element is clicked and highlighted you are greeted with these symbols for your basic edit menu:

The below option helps align items within the text block, either bottom, middle or top of block.

This option copies the entire text block with the settings and creates a duplicate:

This option deletes the block and text content withing:

And finally to fine tune you edit, click the pencil icon to open a new world of options:
