Why DigitalPlaces Designs?
I wanted a name that reflected what I did - create a digital “place” for clients. DigitalPlaces (with no space in between the words) is written in Pascal Case which is used in web URL’s and programming. I use Pascal Case and Camel Case a lot when I am programming so it seemed natural to have it in the name!
The web can be a beautiful, entertaining and informative place (sure it has it’s bad sides too). Being able to help build the different places on the web that people visit is a privilege!
I use the squarespace platform because it seems to be the best “middle ground”. It has enough complexity to allow for more advanced users to add more custom components while at the same time being simple enough for anyone to learn how to manage and make small edits.
PS - I enjoy spending time outdoors doing pretty much anything active. This photo was taken at Red River Gorge KY
My Process
Send me an email here: Inquire
Once I receive your email I will respond with a form with specific questions to get more details on your vision for your site.
After I receive the completed form I will review and then reach out and call (If email is preferred I can accommodate).
Reach out
I will discuss your vision for your site and get to know you a little better.
We’ll go through the answers from your completed form to make sure we are on the same page and get some finer details.
Initial Contact
I’ll send you a recap of our conversation, gather your submitted forms, gather a deposit and start the design process. I’ll give you a time frame of when you can expect me to contact you for the first review.
Recap and Deposit
I’ll give you a call with a heads up that the first revision is complete and then send you an email with the information to access the first draft of your website. Including in this email will also be a form for each page of the site where you can note what you like, what you dislike and any other revisions you would like.
This will be the same for any following revisions.
First Revision
The final revision was made and your site is ready to go live!
This is the last part of the process. Here we’ll process the payment for your site, connect your domain and we’ll jump on a video call so we can go over the features of your new site and answer any questions you may have. Our session will be recorded and sent to you so you can look back at it as much as needed.
Go Live!!
That’s it, your website is complete and can start receiving visitors!!!!
